Terms of Service
Last updated
These terms explain the rules for using Dashboard (“the service”), which is run by The Dashboard team (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing with GitHub or Google, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please don't use the service.
Who runs it
Dashboard is run by The Dashboard team. You can reach us at hello@dashboard.app.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old (or older if the law where you live requires it) to create an account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password and connected sign-in methods secure.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your email address up to date so we can reach you.
- You may connect and disconnect GitHub and Google, but you must always keep at least one way to sign in.
- You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.
Your content
You own what you post — messages, files, notes, snippets, tasks and everything else. You give us the permission we need to store, process and show that content to the people you share it with, only to run the service. Content shared publicly (public projects, public snippets) can be seen by anyone signed in.
Acceptable use
- Don't break the law, infringe others' rights, or share content you aren't allowed to share.
- Don't harass, threaten, impersonate or spam people, or share sexual content involving minors under any circumstances.
- Don't upload malware, try to access data you aren't allowed to see, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Don't scrape the service or use it to send unsolicited messages in bulk.
Project owners and moderators can remove content and members from their projects. We may suspend or remove accounts and content that break these terms.
Third-party services
Some features rely on other services — for example GitHub (repository data), GIPHY or Tenor (GIF search), Cloudflare (voice) and link previews from the sites you link to. Their own terms apply to what they provide.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may change or stop features. If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content posted by other people. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you like. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator is established.
